Sequoia Field Station

The Sequoia Field Station offers a truly unique experience, nestled in the heart of the historic Wolverton Ski Area, just a mile from Giant Forest. Our one cabin and research/classroom facility provide the perfect environment for overnight stays, research, and learning.

Our cozy one-room cabin can accommodate 2-3 people, with 2 twin beds and a futon to ensure a comfortable night's rest. The research/classroom building offers space for up to 25 people,

Wolverton is accessible year-round, offering a range of outdoor activities and adventures, and our cabin is equipped with wifi access to keep you connected during your stay. Please note that cell phone service is not available at the Wolverton facilities, creating a truly secluded and peaceful environment.

At the Sequoia Field Station, we strive to provide a range of facilities to meet your needs, including group campsites, wet lab space, and alternative lodgings, available on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the station director for assistance in making special arrangements in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park.
